KLM pricing AMS-SFO: higher pricing for returning customers

KLM pricing based on 2 computers, same city, same day/time. KLM rewards non-frequent flyers with lower pricing than their returning customers are offered… Once logged on to KLM.com with your Flying Blue account, the ticket pricing will increase with almost 1000 Euro. The same flight on Delta.com is almost 3000 Euro more expensive.

Delta awards 16418 miles, where KLM awards 16380 miles for the exact same flights. Why is there a 38 miles difference?
