Slingbox Solo

3 June, 2008 (22:08) | Business as usual

I just received a Slingbox Solo, an advanced remote control for your digital television with integrated streaming capabilities.

Setup took 5 minutes, connecting the cables and short setup is all.

Slingbox Solo

All functions on the remote control work on the virtual remote you see on the left. You can access every menu on the UPC DVR (recorder), schedule new recordings and play them back. The Slingbox is accessible through any computer with an internet connection and even on mobile devices. It supports HDTV and almost every audio and video device through a series of in- and outputs on the back of the device.

The Slingbox is an addition to the DVR. It adds full remote control of the DVR and streaming of the same output send to the TV.
